This is a great example why Google is and remains the #1 in interactive media advertising. It offers a great experience to the end-user and store very valuable data.

Your realtime geographic position (and movement) is worth gold to advertisers.
Restaurants owner in your current area will pay a lot of money to appear #1 when you search for food on your lunch time.

But more than that, google will from now on also know : if you own a car, walk, travel, which bars, restaurants, malls you go to. From your position and movement speed. Even when you set the "hide me option" in your application, it doesn't mean google doesn't know where you are. It just means it doesn't show it to your family and friends.

a New targeting is born. Is it a good advertising / technology advancement or is it a step-back in human rights by the violation of privacy ?
